The 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show is underway, and as we expected, Porsche made a strong showing. Here’s what’s on the road ahead for the Danvers drivers served by Porsche of Nashua.

2017 Porsche Panamera: No fewer than four 2017 Porsche Panamera variants are on display. Redesigned for 2017, the model now has an expanded lineup that includes the Porsche Panamera 4 Executive, 4S Executive, Turbo Executive, and 4 E-Hybrid Executive. New features include a panoramic roof, longer wheelbase, and — in common with the existing lineup — a Sport appearance package.

What’s perhaps most interesting is what’s on tap for the rear passengers. Models in select markets now feature a rear console with integrated folding tables and a connection for an additional smartphone. Equally impressive is the multi-purpose seatback monitors. Where most vehicles deploy these as an entertainment feature, the Porsche Panamera allows them to be used as a productivity tool so your vehicle effectively becomes an office on wheels.

Porsche 911 RSR: Porsche cars have been an ongoing and highly respected presence at endurance races. They’re the most successful automaker at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with eighteen wins that include an uninterrupted stretch between 1981 and 1987. The Porsche 911 has been as instrumental to that record as it has in making the brand beloved with fans of Porsche in New England. The Porsche 911 RSR continues that tradition, updating a classic to make it even more competitive for the modern era.

Danvers drivers, and all of us at Porsche of Nashua, are well aware of the rich history behind the Porsche brand. However, we’re also proud and excited to see what the new Porsche lineup holds as the company looks to the future.
